Why can't we see God?

Question = wasalam akhi. i have a question. my atheist friends always
ask me this question which i find hard to answer,
"If u believe in ALLAH then where is he? Why cant we see him?"
and each time they ask i answer this way,
"ALLAH is like the wind i cant see him but I feel HIM." is that correct

Allah cannot be seen in this life time. there are many proofs for this

Surah 7:143 When Moses came to the place appointed by Us, and his Lord addressed him, He said: "O my Lord! show (Thyself) to me, that I may look upon thee." Allah said: "By no means canst thou see Me (direct); But look upon the mount; if it abide in its place, then shalt thou see Me." When his Lord manifested His glory on the Mount, He made it as dust. And Moses fell down in a swoon. When he recovered his senses he said: "Glory be to Thee! to Thee I turn in repentance, and I am the first to believe."

to answer your first question. where is Allah? he is above the heavens. he resides in paradise. he is closer to us than the vain in our neck however this is not a physical closeness. this is a closeness in the sense that you sees and knows all. he knows what atoms are in your skin and what atoms are in the air surrounding you. he knows everything and in that sense he is close to us. we do not need to call out in a loud voice so that he can hear us. he can hear us even if we whisper and all our thoughts are known to him. so religions teach that God is all around us and in everything around us. this is incorrect. Allah has created the creation. he is not the creation. Allah is seperate from the creation

now for your second question. why can't we see Allah? because we would die. it would be too stressful for us. Allah revealed some of his presence to the Mountain is crumbled according to the above Ayah

your answer about Allah being like the wind is not good to say. because in doing so you are comparing God to the wind. wind is simply a creation. however if you were to rephrase the your response then it is ligitamate answer. do not say Allah is like the wind. but instead say. i cannot see the wind yet i know it is there because i can feel it and i know Allah is there because i can feel him. this is a better response so you don't compare Allah to the wind. Allah is not like his creation. he is superior to that

Atheists are very weak minded people. they will believe according to popular opinion without questioning anything. for example they believe blindly all scientific studies. even though it is a proven fact that most studies are contradicted by another study within a short perior of time. for example scientists used to say that eggs were good for you, then they changed their minds and said they are bad for you because of colesteral, then they changed their minds again and said it was good for you. and right now it is being promoted as good. the same was done with Margerine and Butter. scientist keep changing their minds and the people follow their advice blindly. this is the nature of Atheists. if the state was Christian then they would become Christians, if the state was Islam then they would become Muslim. they have no intigrity or logical reasoning power. so my point is that you should not get too distressed over what they say. these Atheists will blindly believe in Gama radiation, magnetics, gravity, microwaves and many other things which cannot be seen. yet they say it is impossible for God to exist otherwise we could see him

just like there are signs that tell us that Gama radiation exists, or magnetic waves exists. there is also signs that Allah exists. for example in the time of Musa peace be upon him there were many magicians who could do amazing tricks. but Musa peace be upon him put them all to shame by his miracles. likewise Esau peace be upon him lived in a time of healers and Esau peace be upon him put them all to shame by his superior miracles of healing people by Allah leave. in the time of the prophet Muhammed peace be upon him the society was very poetic and they would bragg and be boastful of their poetry. they would say, if you are a real man then write like us. Allah subhanwatallah sent down the glorious Koran and put them all to shame. and Allah has challenged humanity until the day of judgement to produce a single surah similar to that of the Koran. and they will never be able to do it

if they do not believe in the signs then they would not even believe if the gates of heaven were to open before them. instead they would think that they were delusional

Surah 2:99 We have sent down to thee Manifest signs (ayat); and none reject them but those who are perverse

finally the atheists is faced with a choice. nothing creates nothing. something has to create something. therefore the universe has always existed or Allah has alwasy existed
